Jason Theatre School was established by Joy Spriggs in 1951 and has developed over the years covering Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, National Dance, Drama, Singing and Musical Theatre. Many of our students go on to gain places and scholarships at prestigious dance and drama colleges across the country to further their career.

Our most famous pupil, who, as Victoria Adams, attended the Jason Theatre School from 1982 to 1991 before gaining a scholarship to Laine Theatre Arts.
Former choreographer for Robbie Williams and is now working in Los Angeles. Danny also trained at Laine Theatre Arts.
Has appeared in Cats, Guys and Dolls and Beauty and the Beast.
Lynsey also trained at Laine Theatre Arts.
Victoria is currently performing on the other side of the world in Sydney! She has also appeared in West End productions of Dirty Dancing, Grease, Sinatra and Carousel. Victoria trained at Laine Theatre Arts.
Stephen trained at Italia Conti and has since starred in many productions including;
Guys and Dolls, Footloose, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Kiss Me Kate, Saturday Night Fever. He has also worked in film and TV - The Bill, Eastenders, Kevin and Perry Go Large. He is currently performing in the smash hit musical 'Legally Blonde'.
Amie trained at Doreen Bird College graduating with a BA (Hons) Degree in Dance and Theatre Performance. She is currently touring the world performing onboard cruise ships
Grace trained at Laine Theatre Arts and has appeared in ‘We Will Rock You’ in Germany.
She is more recently working as a fully qualified Pilates teacher.
A well respected choreographer who has been nominated twice for the Olivier Awards. He was dance director for the Fred Astaire Tribute at the London Palladium, The Boyfriend, Babes in Arms and many other musicals in London and country-wide.
Gained a scholarship to London Contemporary Dance. He subsequently joined the company and is now working at the Metropolitan in New York.

Fellow/Examiners of ISTD have both been instrumental in the construction of the new modern and tap syllabus work. They both teach at prestigious colleges and travel worldwide in their field.
After appearing in the original London production of 42nd Street she now runs a large theatre school in Atlanta, USA.
Annatt trained at The Guidhall School of Music and Drama and The Royal Academy of Music. She has since performed in many productions including The Pirates of Penzance, HMS Pinafore and most recently Cameron Mackintosh's Phantom of the Opera.
Elise graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree from Arts Educational School in London and has since performed in many productions. Most recently Elise has been working for 'A Stage Kindly', performing unpublished works of writers from around the globe.
