Jason Theatre School was established by Joy Spriggs in 1951 and has developed over the years covering Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, National Dance, Drama, Singing and Musical Theatre. 

Many of our students go on to gain places and scholarships at prestigious dance and drama colleges across the country to further their career.

We have trained many successful students, whose achievements we take pride in. Some of these include: 

Victoria Beckham
Our most famous pupil, who, as Victoria Adams, attended the Jason Theatre School from 1982 to 1991 before gaining a scholarship to Laine Theatre Arts. 

Danny Teeson
Former choreographer for Robbie Willliams and is now working in Los Angeles.  Danny also trained at Laine Theatre Arts.

Lynsey Britton
Has appeared in Cats, Guys and Dolls and Beauty and the Beast. Lynsey also trained at Laine Theatre Arts.

Victoria Hinde
Has appeared in Dirty Dancing, Grease, Sinatra and currently Carousel.  Victoria trained at Laine Theatre Arts.

Grace Boguzas
Grace trained at Laine Theatre Arts and has appeared in ‘We Will Rock You’ in Germany.

Bill Deamer
A well respected choreographer who has been nominated twice for the Olivier Awards.  He was dance director for the Fred Astaire Tribute at the London Palladium, The Boyfriend, Babes in Arms and many other musicals in London and country-wide.

Andrew Robinson
Gained a scholarship to London Contemporary Dance.  He subsequently joined the company and is now working at the Metropolitan in New York.

Tereza Theodoulou and Katie Morea
Fellow/Examiners of ISTD have both been instrumental in the construction of the new modern and tap syllabus work.  They both teach at pretisigious colleges and travel worldwide in their field.

Georgina Fox
After appearing in the original London production of 42nd Street she now runs a large theatre school in Atlanta, USA.
